Phenom Manifesto

In this new world, technology is becoming so sophisticated that we can no longer be certain of what is real. Digital footprints can be erased or manipulated beyond their original intention. History can be rewritten, heck even our memories are being questioned. As a society, we are now conditioned to question everything.

And maybe we should.

Because the only way to truly know something is authentic is to hold it in our hands or witness it being created in real time. When we experience something firsthand, it becomes undeniable. It exists. It is real. This is what we must hold onto if we are to preserve our humanity.

Storysharing has always been the most powerful way humans connect. Long before platforms and algorithms, there was creative expression. Stories told out loud. Songs sung together. Art made by hand. These were the original threads that bound us to one another.

Creation itself is sacred. When humans create something from nothing, it carries profound connection and meaning. Supporting, uplifting, and celebrating artists and creators is not optional, it’s essential. Technology is only as meaningful as what humans bring to it. Without authentic human creativity, it is hollow.

It is our creatives who help us hold onto our humanity. They are the new celebrities, and authenticity is our new currency.

Moving forward, we must make every opportunity possible for humans to experience real-time, in-person, authentic creativity such as concerts, plays, and events, and prioritize creating and preserving physical expressions of creativity such as books, records, and art—objects that cannot be quietly altered after the fact. Objects that require presence. These unmanipulated works will carry trust, meaning, and weight because they are real.

Phenom exists to cultivate authentic expressions of humanity while being honest about the role of emerging technologies. We celebrate the humans behind creation and innovation. We honor creativity as sacred and reconnect people to what makes us real.
